Project for reducing water consumption - "Efficient Use, Conscientious Consumption"
Establishment of a water management system with a defined consumption goal. ?Giving lectures, training sessions and distributing pamphlets about the practices and concepts of reducing and wasting water.
Natural Gas
Substitution of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) with NG (natural gas). The factory implemented the use of natural gas in all of its activities, using the new fuel in 100% of its operations.
Reforestation - "Cool Wood Certificate"
Through reforestation, companies that consume products from forest origins promote the continuity of the supply of raw materials, relieving the pressure on natural ecosystems and encouraging the conscientious and responsible consumption of wood.
Solid Waste
We sort, store, transport and dispose of waste following legal requirements. We have implemented a triage center for selectively collecting paper, plastic, wood, frying oil and co-products. We possess an Environmental Certificate for disposing of solid waste, paper, plastic, scrap metal, wooden pallets, packaging waste, fluorescent light bulbs, organic waste and co-products and an Environmental Certificate for Industrial Waste Disposal (CADRI).

Industrial effluent treatment station (ETE), with an efficiency above 90%.

Rational Water Usage Project
Reducing water consumption isn’t enough, it is necessary to maintain the reduction. And that is our core project concept: maintain the Rational Water Usage, stimulating efficient usage with conscientious consumption through technological, economic and/or social actions. Through these actions we are able to map the water network, educate collaborators, install water meters in strategic points, detect and correct leaks, modernize equipment and completely monitor the monthly consumption. The result was a 10% consumption reduction in relation to the objective, even with the production increase.
